Nupur Hiremath
Intern
Nupur Hiremath is a summer intern in the SEI Boston office and is working with Bill Dougherty and Amanda Fencl on an economic analysis of hydrogen production in the Sahel. She is currently a Senior Analyst at The Cadmus Group, Inc., an environmental consulting firm in Watertown, Massachusetts, where she assists in the development of drinking water policy for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, conducting technical reviews of scientific data.
Originally from Pune, India, Nupur completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Davidson College, North Carolina and received her Master of Public Administration degree in Environmental Science and Policy at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University in New York City. Starting in the fall of 2008, she will be a part-time graduate student in the Master of Arts program in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University. Nupur hopes to eventually return to India to work on sustainable urban development there.
